Plot

In My Old Ass, we follow 18-year-old Elliott as she embarks on a camping trip with her friends to celebrate her birthday. During their adventure, Elliott decides to take mushrooms, which leads to a transformative encounter with her future self, a wisecracking 39-year-old version of herself played by Aubrey Plaza.

This unexpected meeting prompts Elliott to question her choices about love and family. Older Elliott offers humorous yet poignant advice, warning her to steer clear of a boy named Chad, which Elliott initially takes to heart.
