We already know that our favorite Hina doll craftsman has a crush on his new cosplaying BFF, Marin Kitagawa. However, the latest episode finally showed us sparks flying from both sides, with Marin finally realizing that she has feelings for Gojo! My Dress-Up Darling's latest episode has fans excited about the future of Kitagawa's relationship with Gojo.
Gojo and Kitagawa return home after the cosplaying event and follow all instructions on properly cleaning the dress without damaging it. Gojo's grandfather finally returns home from the hospital with Miori, who tells him that finding the things he did in Gojo's bag was not unusual. She explains how a boy his age might have a girlfriend, relaxing Gojo's grandfather a little bit. When he gets home, he meets Marin for the first time, an encounter that reaffirms Mirio's words to him, calming him down.
While Gojo and his grandfather discuss the outfit, Kitagawa realizes that she has deeply fallen in love with Gojo! Gojo's grandfather invites Marin over for dinner, where she tells them about her family and her mother's passing. Upon hearing her story, Gojo's grandfather tells her that she can join them for dinner whenever she wants. The next day, Sajuna Inui arrives at the shop during heavy rainfall leading to Gojo's grandfather offering her shelter for a little.
Sajuna, aka "Juju," explains that she came here to look at some outfits. While she freshens up, Gojo runs into her before she gets dressed, leading to an embarrassing encounter between the two. While Gojo shows her some Hina dolls, an annoyed Juju tells him that she's a cosplayer and comes to see him because she liked Kitagawa's outfit. She then tells Gojo to commission a cosplay outfit as Kitagawa arrives.
Kitagawa is instantly starstruck by her fellow cosplayer Juju and her acknowledgment of the former's Shizuku-tan outfit. Juju expresses her desire to cosplay as Shion-tan, a character from the anime Flower Princess Blaze, Kitagawa also happens to be a fan of. Juju asks Kitagawa why she doesn't cosplay as "Shion-tan" despite being a fan; however, Kitagawa responds by explaining that her physique does not match the character. She explains how she doesn't want to do a disservice to the character because she loves it.
Kitagawa's statement impresses Juju, who immediately respects her fellow cosplayer. Juju decides to head home and asks Gojo for his contact information so she can send him more details about the kind of outfit she desires, as well as her size. However, she explains to Kitagawa that she only wants the info for work reasons. Gojo and Kitagawa are both embarrassed and flustered by Juju's surprise at learning that they are not dating.
Although Gojo nervously leaves the room, claiming he has been with anyone seriously, Kitagawa is extremely happy to learn that he is single.
