Lenovo-owned Moto, earlier known as Motorola, has launched the Moto G5 in India at a price of Rs 11,999. The smartphones were already showcased at MWC 2017.
Earlier in March, the phone maker had announced the launch of Moto G5 Plus, which is available for sale on Flipkart.The Moto G5 comes with stripped down specs as compared to its elder one, the G5 Plus. The G5 has a 5-inch full HD screen and is powered by the 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor combined with 3GB of RAM in place of Moto G5 Plus' Snapdragon 625.
The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Moto G5 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 441ppi pixel density. The Moto G5, which comes with an internal storage of 16GB and comes with a 2,800mAh battery whereas that on the Moto G5 Plus is 3,000mAh.
Moto G5 has a 13 Mp rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front cam also has a beautification mode to enhance selfies. Moto G5 Plus has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Customers can get Rs 1,000 cash back with HDFC credit card, free SanDisk Ultra 16GB micro-SD card. The company said that the offer is on April 5 and 6.
