Now Google has launched an instantly captured camera with the high picture quality in their handset products with the release of Pixel flagship.
Google’s Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P handset are the new Pixel series recently launched. And these handsets have a stunning camera feature.
The Sony IMX379 sensor based 12.3-megapixel rear shooter on the pixels are the highest rated Smartphone camera modules on DxoMark due to the software optimization like HDR+.
Gcam was initially released as a concept camera for Google Glass. The company focuses the software improvement and didn’t modify the hardware on SONY’S IMX378 sensor.
The function of the camera is to take multiple shots of the same photograph continuously, before combining the best part of an individual shot.
In 2013, Gcam was first shipped with Google Glass prototypes and later packaged as HDR+ on the Nexus 5X and 6P is available as the default cameras on the Pixel series handsets.
The technology is also available on other product by a company such as YouTube, Google Photos, and Google Jump.
