Moreover, the series has also announced that the anime's second season is already in production. The account for the series recently shared an April fool's joke with the fans, featuring characters talking about a nonexistent third season, which has not been confirmed.
Although fans need not worry, news of the upcoming second season is not an April fools' joke, but an April treat! The first season of Masamune-kun's Revenge ran for twelve episodes in 2017, with an OAD released in 2018. With animation production by Silver Link, Mirai Minato directed the first season.
