Fans are going wild online because Disney has finally released the Lilo and Stitch official teaser trailer! The live-action remake of the beloved animated series featuring a lonely girl and a fugitive alien who become unlikely friends is one of the highly anticipated films next year.

The first Lilo and Stitch official teaser trailer focused on the titular blue alien wrecking havoc at what looks like a beach, destroying sand castles left and right. Behind the Scenes

Lilo and Stitch is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp. Chris Kekaniokalani Bright has written the script, which in turn is based on the 2002 film co-directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin are the producers. Louie Provost, Tom Peitzman, and Ryan Halprin are serving as executive producers.
