Twitter tipsters @Kang and @UniverseIce have compiled a post where they detail device prices, colors, display types, display sizes, and memory capacity choices.
Of course, most of this has already been leaked, so here’s what heard for the first time:
The new lineup will use a new screen glass technology based on a ceramic substrate. The promises accompanying this include better resistance to drop-induced cracks and scratches thanks to the increased hardness.
All four models will be capable of shooting with the “Dolby Vision” technology, which is an advanced HDR color grading system that makes colors brighter and blacks darker.
MagSafe will handle wireless charging, and it’s going to have a power rating of 15 W.
The f-number (which is the ratio of the focal length to the diameter of the entrance pupil of the cameras on the wide-angle unit of all models) is f/16.
The Pro and Pro Max models are going to have a LiDAR sensor for measuring distances with laser, achieving highly accurate focusing.
Photography modes like the “Night Scene,” “Smart HDR,” and “Deep Fusion” have all been upgraded in the new lineup.
Zooming optically on the Pro is 4x, while it goes up to 5x on the Pro Max.
The Pro Max image sensor is going to be 47% larger than that of the Pro, which is expected to make a considerable difference in low-light photography.
The iPhone 12 Mini is going to be released on November 13/14, so it’ll be the first to land on the market.
The iPhone 12 and also the iPhone 12 Pro will arrive on the shelves on October 23/24.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is scheduled for release on November 20/21, so it’s going to take a while.
So, there you have it. If the above is actually close to reality or not, we will get to know in four days. We’re only sharing this to raise the anticipation and have a reference point to judge the credibility of tipsters like IceUniverse.
