The first teaser trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kokyu no Karasu has recently been released. The series is based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name, written by Kōko Shirakawa and illustrated by Ayuko. Aniplex began streaming a teaser promotional video that previews the characters' voices for the series on Thursday.
The supernatural fantasy drama series follows the story of Ryu Jusetsu, a concubine who has never been called upon by the emperor. As a result, she maintains a unique lifestyle within the emperor's harem. However, she possesses a mysterious magical ability seeing as nobody knows what she looks like. If you're a fan of supernatural dramas, this anime is one you don't want to skip!
The anime adaptation for Kokyu no Karasu is set for an October 2022 release. Chizuru Miyawaki is directing the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Satomi Ooshima will oversee the scripts for the series' first season. It has also been confirmed that Ayuko's original character designs will be adapted into the anime by Shinji Takeuchi. Asami Tachibana will be the music composer for the series.
Creator Kōko Shirakawa launched the novel series with illustrations by Ayuko in April 2018. The seventh and final volume shipped on Thursday. Check out the recently released teaser trailer for the series below:
