Look Up! Superman is finally here. James Gunn and DC Studios have unveiled the first motion poster of the upcoming 2025 film. Starring David Corenswet as the titular hero with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane with others, the film is all set to make everyone believe again that a man can fly.Â

On Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, DC Studios and James Gunn released the first motion poster of their Superman film. The widely shared poster features David Corenswet’s hero flying in his iconic blue, red, and yellow suit. The ‘S’ Symbol is also different from the ones we have seen before. It’s a stark departure from the symbol Henry Cavill’s man of steel wore.Â

The first motion poster for the James Gunn Superman film was accompanied by about 40 seconds of music that seems to have echoes of John Williams’ iconic theme for Christopher Reeve’s version of the hero while also being reminiscent of Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for Henry Cavill’s version. It was previously rumored that the first Superman trailer was going to be released on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, and now that has been confirmed by James Gunn and Warner Bros. Check out the announcement here:
