We know that Apple will be announcing a 6.1-inch LCD variant of the iPhone, presumably called the 'iPhone XC', in a couple of days from now. As we head closer to the launch, a real prototype of the LCD iPhone variant has leaked online and we get to see that the device will be available in at least three different colors — Space Gray, Rose Gold, and Red. This is perhaps the first time Apple is making a Red iPhone available at launch. Previously, the red color iPhones were part of Apple's PRODUCT (RED) campaign.
Guys... this is not clones or dummy models.. this is a real deal 🤯 Prototypes https://t.co/B8KESnTjx2

The images of the prototypes were tweeted by famed Apple watcher Ben Geskin on Twitter. After a flurry of leaks of dummy units, Geskin says 'this is the real deal'. We see that the back is made of glass and features a single-lens camera. The sides seem to be made of aluminum and from what we've heard so far, the new iPhones will come in dual-SIM options in specific markets.
Of course, we will be knowing more about the new iPhones when they officially launch the day after tomorrow. So far, we've been hearing that the 6.1-inch LCD version will be priced at €799 (₹66,700) while the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs will retail for €909 (₹75,500). The flagship 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max is expected to cost around €1,149 (₹96,000). Although these are still high prices, the iPhone XC is expected to offer a boost to Apple's revenue in emerging markets.
We'll bring you all the latest information as Apple's event unfolds on September 12 so watch this space.
