I'm A Celebrity 2024 returns on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, airing at 9 pm GMT on ITV1 and streaming on ITVX. The show will follow its usual schedule, broadcasting nightly for around three weeks. However, it will air a bit later at 9:30 pm on Saturdays.
After a four-year hiatus, I'm A Celebrity has launched a fresh spin-off series, I'm A Celebrity Unpacked, which will delve into all the jungle drama and gossip. The rebooted show, announced on Good Morning Britain on Oct. 29, 2024, will be hosted by former contestant Joel Dommett, 2023 winner Sam Thompson, and radio DJ Kemi Rodgers.
Dommett, who credits the show with helping to kick start his career, expressed his excitement, saying this reboot comes at the perfect time, meeting fans' renewed interest. The show promises a new format, with Ant and Dec featured daily, exclusive interviews with campmates, and in-depth breakdowns of all the action. Thompson shared his enthusiasm, calling I'm A Celebrity the “best show on TV.”
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are returning to host I'm A Celebrity 2024, continuing their long-standing role since the show began in 2002. Known for their playful humor and chemistry, the duo has been a staple of the series, with only one exception in 2018, when Holly Willoughby temporarily stepped in for Ant.
This year, the pair hinted they might take a break from casting politicians after recent appearances from figures like Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock. In a recent Instagram live, Dec suggested that it might be time to skip political figures, saying, “I think we do a year without any politicians,” to which Ant emphatically agreed.
Ant and Dec, who also host Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway, are back to bring their signature wit and charm to the jungle once again.
Earlier this year, fans got a sneak peek with a brief teaser showing hosts Ant and Dec appear as "mad scientists," wearing lab coats instead of their usual jungle attire. The duo test out the latest Bushtucker Trial concoctions, including gunge and bugs, using mannequins as stand-ins for celebrities.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Returns Sunday 17th November on ITV1 & ITVX
Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson was crowned winner of I'm A Celebrity 2023. Reflecting on his victory, he expressed deep gratitude, saying, “I didn't think I was even going to be invited onto this show, let alone be sat here [on the winner's throne]. I am so grateful, thank you so much.”
The 2024 series will be filmed in Australia again, with reports indicating that the crew will return to Springbrook National Park near Murwillumbah, close to the Queensland border.
