Hulu with Live TV is going to cost more, as the company decides it's time to hike the price. A year after its last price alteration, Hulu with Live TV is going up to $64.99 per month.Â
Right now, Hulu with Live TV costs $54.99 per month. Starting with December 18th, Hulu will cost $64.99 for both new and current customers. The bundle that includes Hulu + Live TV, Disney Plus, and ESPN+ will also cost $71.99 starting with the same date, up from $61.99 per month.Â
The $10 hike falls in line with the adjustments made by competitors during the summer months. Part of the reason for these new prices is the growing cost of the content companies are trying to license. Also, as more channels are added, the cost grows too.Â
It was also on December 18th, 2019, that Hulu last increased its Live TV subscription price from $44.99 to $54.99. However, they did reduce the price for the On-Demand annual ad-supported tier in 2020.
Hulu offers a single bundle of networks, but you can add a couple of extra channel packs and several premium networks (HBO Max, Showtime, Starz, and Cinemax). The platform features all major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox), plenty of sports channels (ESPN, FS1), kids' channels, science, and more.
Also, the service keeps growing. According to recent data from Disney, the service has over 4.1 million customers, 41% more than they did last year.Â
No price adjustments have been announced for the video-on-demand service, as the numbers remain at $5.99 per month with ads and $11.99 per month for the ad-free plan.Â
