The Mallorca Files has found a new home for its highly anticipated third season. While the first two seasons were exclusively produced and distributed by the BBC on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in the UK and on BritBox internationally, Amazon Prime Video is now taking the reins.Â
Currently, you can catch seasons 1 and 2 on Amazon Freevee, but they'll soon be available to Prime customers as the premiere of season 3 approaches later this summer.Â
The Mallorca Files season 3 is co-produced by Cosmopolitan Pictures and BBC Studios' Clerkenwell Films. Ben Donald of Cosmopolitan and Wim de Greef from Clerkenwell and creator Dan Sefton serve as executive producers. Dan Muirden, Sarah-Lou Hawkins, Emily Fairweather, Jackie Okwera, and Alex McBride are also on the writing team.Â
Dominic Barlow is the series producer, and Craig Pickles, Rob Evans, and Kate Cheeseman direct. BBC Studios oversees global distribution, and Beth Anderson manages the deal with Amazon MGM Studios.
