The House Targaryen spin-off series premiered on August 21, and the latest episode is set to air soon. You will be able to stream Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen online quite easily, even on the go or while traveling abroad, just like you do with all your other favorite content. We have all the details you may be seeking, including the premiere date and hour, cast, and plot, so let's see when, where, and how to watch House of the Dragon Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen online from anywhere in the world.

The spin-off series is based on George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood novel and serves as a prequel focusing on the rise of the reign of House Targaryen, as the story is set around the Targaryen civil war that took place about 200 years before the events depicted in Game of Thrones. Spoilers ahead!

As we've seen so far, the spin-off is rather about the early life, adventures, misdeeds, and marriages of Prince Daemon Targaryen, called "one of the biggest rogues in the entire history of Ice and Fire." The premiere opened with the Red Keep, where Queen Aemma died, and Princess Rhaenyra was the named heir to the throne, putting Daemon on a revenge path. In Episode 2, Daemon was banished from the Red Keep, and the King refused Lord Corlys' marriage proposal, taking Lady Alicent Hightower as his next wife instead. Episode 3 saw Rhaenyra feel unsure as to her ascension to the Iron Throne due to Alicent's firstborn son and Daemon's impressive display of defiance as he took on the Crabfeeder himself in the Stepstones. In Episode 4, Daemon tried to seduce Rhaenyra in a brothel to create rumors that would help him secure a place on the throne by marrying his niece. In Episode 5, Daemon kills his wife, Lady Rhea, to hit two birds with one stone - inheriting the Runestone and freeing himself from marriage - and Rhaenyra's wedding with Laenor Velaryon goes awfully wrong as Ser Criston Cole kills Laenor's sworn protector.

In Episode 6, we are taken years later, and we expect to see the tensions between the Princess and the Queen, as the latter found out about Rhaenyra's affair with Criston Cole back then. We saw a pregnant Laena as well, and we know the father is Daemon. You can see more details in the episode preview below.

We will continue to see Paddy Considine as King Viserys, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Ryan Corr as Ser Harwin Strong, and Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, but this is the awaited episode when we'll also see some new faces for a few characters, such as Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Olivia Cooke as Queen Alicent Hightower. We also expect to start seeing Tom Glynn-Carney as Prince Aegon Targaryen.

House of the Dragon Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen will air on the HBO network on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 9 pm ET, and you will have the option to stream the episode on demand via the HBO Max service after it premieres on TV. This season has 10 episodes, and one new episode a week will air every other Sunday in the US and Canada and on Mondays in the rest of the countries until the season finale, which occurs on October 23.

The HBO Max streaming platform holds the exclusive rights to The Game of Thrones spin-off series. Prices start with the ad-supported tier, which costs $9.99 a month, and you can even watch the show in 4K UHD on select devices if you select the ad-free for $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year. Just subscribe on the service's official website, or log in with your TV provider credentials - and you can also subscribe via Apple, Google Play, and Roku.

If you live in the United States, you can also watch House of the Dragon online via a third-party streaming platform that has HBO Max as a premium add-on.

The Hulu On-Demand service lets you add the ad-free version of the HBO Max add-on for $14.99 per month, and you also get a 7-day free trial. The subscription prices start with the ad-supported plan for $6.99 per month, but you can remove the ads completely for $12.99 per month, and both have a generous 30-day free trial.

You can also enjoy a 7-day free trial for the HBO Max premium add-on via the YouTube TV platform, which costs $14.99 a month on top of the platform's subscription fee. The service has a single pack with a subscription price of $14.99 a month for the first month, then it's $64.99 a month, and includes a 5-day free trial for new customers.

You get a hefty 3-month free trial when you select the HBO Max Premium add-on to the DirecTV Stream service, and it costs $14.99 per month thereafter. Plans that include this add-on option begin at $69.99 per month for the first two months and $89.99 after that. Plus, you get a 5-day free trial on DirecTV Stream if you're new to the service.

All streaming services mentioned above are geo-restricted, including HBO Max, so you may lose access while traveling away from the United States. A capable and safe VPN app can help you bypass them as you run it using a server from back home while abroad. More details are in the segment above.
