Django fans will be over the moon to know a new take on the story is here in the form of a 2023 series that is loosely based on Sergio Corbucci's cult film. We have the premiere date, episode release schedule, cast, plot, and other details you may be interested in, but the best thing is that you will be able to stream the entire series online.
The series is set in Texas in the late 1800s and tells the story of a criminal as he searches for the truth about his family's massacre that will lead him to an even harder fight. Exhausted cowboy Django is searching for his daughter he thought he lost in a massacre. Following her trail, he ends up in New Babylon, a city at the bottom of a crater where all outsiders are welcome, and all live an equal life in freedom. Here he finds his now 20-year-old daughter Sarah, who is about to marry John Ellis, the founder of New Babylon.Â
Sarah believes her father is to blame for the massacre that killed her family while Django was at war, and she demands that he should leave town immediately, but Django doesn't give up and tries everything to get a second chance. In doing so, he becomes a valuable ally for John Ellis, who must defend his city from Elizabeth Thurman's attacks. Unbeknownst to them, Django, John, and Sarah are linked by a dark past and a web of secrets that are all slowly coming to the surface.Â
Django is a high-end ten-part TV series produced by Cattleya (part of ITV Studios) and Atlantique Productions (part of Mediwan) and co-produced by Sky Studios and Canal+ for Sky and Canal+, in association with StudioCanal TV and Odeon Fiction and with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Government of Romania.Â
The original cult classic Django movie, directed by Sergio Corbucci, was a traditional Spaghetti Western released in 1966, and it is still regarded as one of the best-loved Italian films. That said, let’s see where, when, and how to watch Django online from anywhere in the world you may be.

However, these are geo-restricted and may block your access while traveling abroad.
