After three years, Disney's FX has announced that Donald Glover's Emmy-winning comedy series is finally making a comeback for its third season. We have all the information about its much-anticipated return to the screen, so let's see where, when, and how to watch Atlanta Season 3 online from anywhere.
Atlanta is a comedy-drama set in Atlanta city that focuses on two cousins, Earn (played by Glover) and Alfred "Paper Boi" (Brian Tyree Henry), in the latter's quest to make a name for himself in the rap industry while Earn manages his rap career, as they navigate their daily lives, affected by various socio-economic issues like race, poverty, and class. Season 3 follows Paper Boi's tour in Europe, where the two struggle to adjust to their newfound success. Season 3 and 4 were written and shot together, so we can fairly expect Season 4 to air at the end of this year.
Atlanta Season 2 got Emmy nominations - the most for any comedy series. Apart from bagging five Primetime Emmy Awards, Atlanta also won two Golden Globes, and Glover also became the first black director to win an Emmy for a comedy series. Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz join Glover and Henry as cast. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions and MGMT Entertainment and executive produced by Glover, Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms, and Dianne McGunigle.
Atlanta Season 3 premieres on FX on March 24, 2022, at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. with two new episodes. There are ten 30-minute episodes this season, the rest of which will be aired once a week at 10 p.m., until May 19. These episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu the next day after it broadcasts on FX. The names of the first three episodes have been revealed: "Three Slaps" (episode 1), "Sinterklaas is Coming to Town" (episode 2), and "The Old Man and the Tree" (episode 3).
