A new and stunning series that catches the most breathtaking sceneries will soon premiere, and we will be able to stream the episodes online quite easily, even on the go. We have all the details you may seek, including the release date, plot, and episode release schedule, so let's see when, where, and how to watch America the Beautiful online.
This new series coming from the award-winning producers of Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, and Disneynature films will present the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife in various visually astonishing areas of America that we think of as timeless. However, the series aims to show us that's not exactly the reality.
After Welcome to Earth with Will Smith launched on December 8, 2021, National Geographic continues its string of beautiful documentary series with America the Beautiful, and there is more new content to come (you can check the full list of titles coming to Disney Plus this year here).
From the award-winning producers of Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, and the Disneynature films, America the Beautiful is the jaw-dropping story of our homeland and its amazing animals. North America is the most diverse and extreme continent on Earth. The only place where you can find every landscape, from Arctic icecap to baking desert and everything in-between.
We take a journey through America’s most spectacular regions - the mountainous Northwest, the steamy South, the arid West, and the endless Heartland. Whatever the neighborhood, there’s a hero who can make it a home. Smart, tough, brave, you name it, the animals of North America have what it takes to overcome the elements and thrive. In our closing episode, we meet the human heroes fighting to preserve our wildlife and wild places for future generations.
Narrated by Michael B. Jordan, the America the Beautiful series will premiere on Monday, July 4, 2022. The season will have 6 episodes that will become available simultaneously, and you will find them on the Disney Plus streaming service. New content usually lands after midnight PT (3:01 am ET) on the on-demand platforms, and this will be the case with Disney Plus as well.
The National Geographic series is going to be featured on Disney's streaming service, so you will be able to watch this title if you subscribe to Disney Plus in the countries where it is available. The service has launched in a myriad of countries lately, including the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia.
So head to their website or open the app and fill in the requested details to create an account. The subscription fee is US $7.99 per month (or the US $79.99 per year) / £7.99 per month (or £79.90 per year) / CA $11.99 per month (or CA $119.99 per year) / AU $11.99 per month (or AU $119.99 per year). The service expanded to other countries, and you can find the subscription fees here, so fans can watch it in more territories since this June.
The subscription price includes full access to the platform's library, which hosts several Star Wars titles and various titles from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and The Simpsons, among others, besides National Geographic content. The Disney Plus platform is compatible with mobile devices and tablets, both iOS and Android, Smart TVs, gaming consoles, and more (you can check the full list here).
The Disney Bundle includes Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu’s ad-supported plan. Save 25% when you bundle all three.
People living in the United States have another option besides the standalone Disney Plus subscription, and it comes in the form of a three-service bundle that saves you 25% compared to the monthly cost of subscribing to all three services separately. American customers can get the Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Hulu bundle, and The Disney Bundle has two price options - with Hulu (ad-supported) for $13.99 per month or Hulu (No Ads) for $19.99 per month.
Do keep in mind that neither of these services is available when you travel abroad due to geo-blocks stemming from licensing deals, so you may see a different library in other countries where Disney is available or entirely lose access in countries where it's not yet launched.
Even though a Disney Plus free trial is not on the table, there are a few other ways to get the service for free for a limited time. Let's see what your options are right now.
At the moment, you can get your hands on a very extensive Disney Plus free trial through Verizon. If you're a Verizon subscriber with select Unlimited plans (or if you upgrade to Unlimited), know that the telco offers 6 months of free Disney Plus for eligible new and existing customers. After the free trial ends, you will be charged the standard price for a standalone Disney Plus subscription on the streaming platform, which is $7.99 per month. Note that Verizon offers The Disney Bundle for Unlimited subscribers as well, but you won't get a free trial if you pick the bundle.
There are a couple of services that have on-and-off deals that include Disney Plus for free, so we recommend you check Amazon Music Unlimited or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to see if the deals become available again when you decide to get Disney Plus.

The north of America is a world of rugged mountains, including Denali, the highest peak on the continent, and sweeping Arctic tundra. Up here, the wild heroes, from grizzly bears to musk oxen to beavers to bald eagles, must battle through the continent’s most brutal winter, lit only by the ethereal beauty of the northern lights. For those who can make it, a spectacular summer of plenty awaits.
The southwestern USA, the setting for some of the most famous desert landscapes on our planet, is a world of animal heroes who can overcome anything that’s thrown at them, from the baking desert to the mighty Pacific Ocean. Mountain lions patrol the Grand Canyon looking for mates, gray whales tackle the longest mammal migration on Earth, and hummingbird supermoms raise chicks in the blistering heat.

Here, Florida panthers have fought their way back from extinction, with a little help from humans, while tiny mice work to protect our shoreline from deadly hurricanes.
