Why Should a VPN Be Used to Watch Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction?

Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction is available on Discovery+, Max, and Philo, but these platforms are geo-restricted outside the US due to distribution agreements and broadcasting rights. Without a VPN, viewers outside the US can't access the show.

If you try to access this title on Discovery+ outside the US without a VPN, a geo-restricted error message will appear on your screen, stating, “Soon...But Not Quite Yet. discovery+ is not yet available in this location. We can’t wait to bring discovery+ to your part of the world.”

Discovery Plus geo-block error message

Trying to access Max or Philo outside the US will also yield similar geo-restriction error messages. NordVPN is a great solution. It unblocks multiple streaming services and offers fast speeds for smooth streaming by masking your real IP address.

NordVPN stands out as one of the best personal VPNs, offering excellent privacy and security features, such as virtual servers for flexibility, obfuscation to bypass restrictions, double encryption, dedicated IPs, and RAM-based servers to ensure your privacy.

A new series, Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction, delves into the truth behind personal stories of otherworldly experiences. With more reports of UAPs (unexplained aerial phenomena) than ever before, UFO experts Mitch Horowitz and Chrissy Newton use scientific data and research to examine real-life encounters with extraterrestrials and figure out if they can be explained.

Set in Roswell, New Mexico, a town famous for its UFO history, Horowitz and Newton meet with people who have experienced strange and unexplainable events. After hearing each firsthand account, they use the latest intelligence, technology, and tools to investigate the reported activity.

By analyzing recently declassified UFO documents, databases, and more, they scrutinize the visual and physical evidence to distinguish fact from fiction. They then decide whether each experience has a logical explanation or if it might be a real alien encounter.

In the first episode, Horowitz and Newton talk to a farming couple from California who believe they have video evidence proving the afterlife is real. Then, a geologist claims to have found the most significant piece of evidence from a UFO crash site, leaving the experts astounded. Finally, they meet a mother who thinks a terrifying UFO encounter caused her neurological damage and left her with radiation burns.
