The latest iPhone generation follows the same footprints of its older siblings, especially when it comes to essential system functions. For example, if you want to restart your iPhone or turn off silent mode, you still have to rely on your phone’s physical buttons. However, some actions can be done in more ways than one, as we’re about to show you in this guide on how to turn up the volume on your iPhone 13.

The following applies to the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max. However, the same applies to earlier iPhone generations as well, especially those without the Home button.

How to Turn Up the Volume on the iPhone 13

There are three ways to turn up the volume on your iPhone 13, which can be done using your phone’s hardware buttons, relying on the 'Control Center,' or using voice commands.

Option #1: Use Your iPhone’s Hardware Buttons

The quickest way to turn up the volume on your iPhone is by using its dedicated volume buttons. Here’s how that is done precisely.

1. Check the left side/edge of your iPhone 13. You’ll see two buttons and a switch.

2. Those two buttons are the 'Volume' buttons.

3. Now, make sure that your iPhone’s screen is active (the phone can be locked).

4. Press the 'Volume Up' button to increase the volume on your iPhone. That’s it!

You can also use your iPhone’s 'Control Center' to access plenty of quick shortcuts, letting you also adjust the volume. Do the following.

1. First, learn how to access the 'Control Center' on your iPhone 13.

2. Then, identify the volume control slider found on the right.

3. Swipe up across the slider to turn the volume up. Swipe down to turn it down.

4. Now, try pressing and holding the volume slider.

5. You can now adjust the volume via more incremental levels.

Option #3: Use Voice Commands (Siri)

And lastly, you can always control your phone’s volume by using Siri. In fact, Apple’s digital assistant is quite powerful in that sense, as you can see just below.

1. Find the 'Side' button on your iPhone, located on the right edge/side.

2. Now, press the Side button and keep it pressed until Siri shows up on the screen.

2. Once you see the Siri icon, say: "Increase the volume."

3. You can also say: "Increase the volume by 10/20/30… percent."

4. Siri will increase your phone’s volume, and you should see a confirmation on the screen.
