Women in Blue (Las Azules) is a ten-episode Spanish-language crime drama featuring an entirely Hispanic cast and crew led by Ariel Award nominee Bárbara Mori. Created by International Emmy Award-winning showrunner and director Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, the series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Set in 1970 and inspired by true events, Women in Blue follows four women who defy the conservative norms of their time by joining Mexico’s first female police force. They soon realize their squad is just a publicity stunt to divert attention from a brutal serial killer. Determined to catch the killer, María, Gabina, Ángeles, and Valentina set up a secret investigation to succeed where male officers have failed.

Fernando Rovzar, Wendy Riss, Erica Sánchez Su, Sandra Solares, and Billy Rovzar are the series' executive producers. Lemon Studios produced the series for Apple TV+.
