Peacock is another great addition to the on-demand and live TV platforms market, and it grew pretty fast since its launch in 2020. Below we'll guide you through how to get Peacock on Apple TV, and it's a pretty simple process.
Peacock TV comes with thousands of hours of content that includes classic NBC shows, Peacock originals, sports, news, and more - and soon, we'll also see movies from Universal, DreamWorks, Illumination, and Focus Films studios arriving four months after their cinematic debut.
The service was available only to Comcast customers at first, then expanded to iOS, Android, other smart TVs, PlayStation, Xbox, Roku, etc.
If you are not a subscriber yet, you can subscribe to Peacock by creating a free account, and the easiest way is to do that on their website. After entering a user email and creating a password, you can choose from the ad-supported Free tier and the Premium plan for $4.99 per month. The latter can be upgraded to Premium Plus for another $5/month and if you want to get rid of the ads. There are also annual plans that you can select for a better price.
You can access the limited-commercials Premium tier for no extra cost if you are an Xfinity customer or Cox customer.
You can also use Siri to find Peacock content and add items to the Apple TV App’s Up Next list.
If you do not own an Apple TV device and you're just using the Apple TV App on some other device (like Roku, for example), then the Peacock app would need to be available for the device where you are using the Apple TV App on.
You can also get Peacock on Apple TV by mirroring the streaming app from another device. Log in to your Peacock account or open the app on your iPhone or iPad and queue up the content you want to stream. On a Mac, use the AirPlay icon in the menu bar to connect your device.
