As the transformation from CBS All Access to Paramount Plus approaches, we're all trying to sift through the various things we know about the service. One of the biggest questions we've encountered is: how much will Paramount Plus cost?
According to a recent announcement, Paramount Plus will feature two pricing tiers in the US. The premium plan will cost $9.99 per month, and the ad-supported base plan ranks at $4.99 per month. The latter will be available starting in June.
The difference between the two tiers, besides the price, is that the ad-supported version will include live sports but will exclude local stations. According to the company, existing subscribers will not be affected by the price change considering the $5.99 per month plan will be discontinued unless they resubscribe after the new Paramount Plus plan is introduced.
Plus, right now, you can subscribe to CBS All Access for a full year for half the price by putting in the PARAMOUNTPLUS voucher code. In this way, once Paramount Plus comes along in early March, the subscription will shift to include it.Â
With the move from CBS All Access to Paramount Plus, the content collection will expand with some 30,000 new episodes from MTV, Comedy Central, Smithsonian Channel, BET, and more. Plus, there will be hundreds of Paramount Pictures movies added to the platform plus.Â
