With its grotesquely stunning graphics and brilliant plot story, Attack on Titan sits smugly at the top of the anime industry. No kidding. This anime franchise has garnered such a strong and flourishing fan base; that it might be a pretty difficult task to overthrow Attack on Titan from its glory.

Of course, the anime is the talk of the town because its brand new season is about to end. But unfortunately for the fans of the anime, this latest series of episodes will also conclude the anime for good.

How Many Seasons Are There in Attack on Titan?

Attack on Titan anime series has a total of 4 seasons, with the last two seasons split into two parts. Season 4 Part 2 of the series is currently ongoing—with only the last few episodes that are yet to be aired. The anime will conclude with an episode inventory of 85 episodes by the second weekend of March.

Attack on Titan (Japanese: Shingeki no Kyojin) anime is based on the manga of the same name; credited to Hajime Isayama. Multiple studios have worked on the anime since its 2013 release to bring the story to life. And honestly? They did one hell of a job at that.

In our opinion, Attack on Titan is a well-appreciated masterpiece and deserves every bit of fame that it has gathered. The anime is widely popular due to its blunt and straightforward portrayal of gore, blood, and deaths. It has a certain type of lunacy that is fresh to watch. It has attracted a lot of new fans to the industry.

The show is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where humanity is forced to live surrounded by huge walls. The walls serve as a shield against the giant, man-eating, humanoid titans. The story follows the life of our lead boy Eren Jaeger and his friends, as they fight against the terrifying titans.

Well, a lot of stuff hits the fan, and you'll be left flabbergasted after each and every episode; (that's a part of the charm of the show, not gonna lie to you). You are in for a roller coaster ride if you're new to the series. And for the old-timers, you guys are always welcome to cry together after the series ends.

And while we wait, can we sing along to "Shinzou Wo Sasageyo," pretty please? Thanks!

You can watch Attack on Titan anime on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu.
