How Many Profiles Can You Have on Discovery Plus?

Discovery Plus is launching soon in the United States, promising to offer a ton of new content to subscribers, as well as access to quite a few networks under its parent company. As we prepare for yet another streaming service, we wanted to know just how many profiles we'll be able to create on the service.

First of all, you should know that Discovery Plus will have a couple of subscription options from the get-go. You can either pay $4.99 per month for the ad-supported version or $6.99 per month for the ad-free option.

According to what the company has said so far, each account will include up to five user profiles. However, only four simultaneous streams will be permitted on each account across multiple platforms.

By comparison, Disney Plus allows users to have up to seven different profiles per account, Hulu permits up to six of them, and Netflix up to five of them.

When you create a profile, you get suggestions based on what you watch, and you can also keep a watchlist and a history of the content you've enjoyed. This will make the service more accurate in providing you with interesting things to watch and notifications when there are new episodes for your favorite shows.

Discovery Plus will be available across multiple platforms, and every owner of each profile will be able to access it from their own device.
