Disney Plus has been expanding to numerous countries in the world, drawing in more and more people. Since they also allow multiple folks to use the same account simultaneously, you can enjoy your content while your kids watch something else in the room next door. But how many people can watch Disney Plus at once?

Well, Disney has decided that all subscribers can watch content on up to four separate devices at once. Whether we're talking about smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, browsers, or smart TVs - it doesn't matter. There needs to be a total of four, or you'll get an error code indicating you need to stop at least one of those before continuing on a new device.

Make sure you don't confuse the number of associated profiles with the number of simultaneous streams allowed on Disney Plus. That's because you can have seven different profiles on Disney+, so everyone who crosses your threshold can keep track of their films and series.

However, only four people can watch content at the same time. Anyone trying to stream something after the max number has been reached will get denied access.

How Does Disney Plus Compare to Competitors?

Disney Plus may be offering four simultaneous streams with the subscription that costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, or $12.99 per month for the bundle that includes Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN+, but what are other platforms offering?

Well, Hulu offers two simultaneous streams with its regular subscription but allows users that went for the Hulu + Live TV service to add unlimited screens at home and three on the go for $9.99 per month.

When it comes to Netflix, you get one stream with the Basic plan ($8.99/mo), two streams with the Standard Plan ($13.99/mo), or four simultaneous streams with the Premium plan ($17.99/mo).

HBO Max, for its part, allows subscribers to watch content on up to three devices at the same time. The service costs $14.99 per month.

Overall, Disney Plus has one of the best offerings as far as simultaneous steams go when we compare prices and perks.

What Devices Does Disney Plus Work On?

Disney+ comes with device support for a bunch of platforms, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Fire HD, Chromecast, Chromebook, Samsung smart TVs, LG smart TVs, Roku, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Windows 10, and more.

Where Is Disney Plus Available?

Disney Plus was launched back in November 2019, and it has been expanding ever so slowly as it seeks to become a global phenomenon in the next couple of years. So far, the service is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
