Official Trailer

Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym used by the mysterious creator (or group of creators) of Bitcoin. Nakamoto is credited with writing the Bitcoin white paper in 2008, which introduced the concept of a decentralized digital currency and later implemented its first software in 2009. Despite the significance of Bitcoin, Nakamoto’s true identity remains unknown for over 15 years.

Nakamoto is believed to hold approximately 1.1 million Bitcoins, making them potentially one of the wealthiest individuals, with an estimated $66 billion in Bitcoin at current market prices. Despite these holdings, none of Nakamoto’s Bitcoin has been moved, adding to the intrigue.

Over the years, several individuals have claimed to be Nakamoto, with Australian cryptographer Craig Steven Wright being the most prominent among them. However, Wright has yet to provide cryptographic proof, leaving the identity of Nakamoto unresolved and one of the greatest mysteries in the cryptocurrency space.
