What is Grosse Pointe Garden Society About?

Grosse Pointe Garden Society follows Alice, Birdie, Brett, and Catherine, who are a part of a suburban garden club. What starts as a fun way to bond soon descends into chaos and scandal. After all, instead of planting flowers and trees, the group begins digging up the soil to bury bodies.

The group makes a pact to always have each other’s backs. But with four different personalities clashing against each other, how long will they be able to keep their secret? Also, as the bodies begin to rot and smell, the four will have to decide what lengths they are ready to go to save themselves.

The show’s official synopsis reads, “As dark truths begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden above.”

Who is in the cast of Grosse Pointe Garden Society?

Rappaport said, “I think ‘Grosse Pointe’ has a real healthy mix of humor, drama, intrigue and mystery. It is a very specific tone. In a given scene it will be very serious and then you will be laughing your head off. It is always going to keep you on your toes like that.” (via Yahoo)

Grosse Pointe Garden Society Trailer

The trailer for Grosse Pointe Garden Society begins with a voiceover saying, “Here’s what they don’t tell you when you join a garden club- to make a garden grow, something has to die.”

What follows is a body being buried as the four protagonists scramble to keep the secret and avoid prison while maintaining their normal day-to-day lives. The trailer hints that there might be a traitor in their midst as the video ends with a character hinting that one of them doesn’t know what the first rule of the garden club is- which is to have each other’s backs.
