Gmail users to get Windows 10’s best new mail and calendar features sooner

Microsoft updated Windows 10's mail and calendar app with a few useful features, two months ago. Now, they announced that it has begun to add a new feature to its standard-issue Mail and Calendar apps for Windows 10 for Gmail account holders.

Vivek Kumar, Microsoft’s product marketing manager for Windows 10 Mail and Calendar said that "easily tracking travel and shipping deliveries, making emails more actionable, helping you easily track your favorite sports events, faster search, and more".

The Focused Inbox shows the important mail and put everything else into the other tab. The Calendar app will be helpful to users, it displays the travel reservation and packages delivery detail and more on the date.

The advantage of the new features in Windows 10Mail and Calendar will need to let know "sync a copy of your email, calendar, and contacts to its servers". Any changes you make —composing/deleting emails, scheduling new appointments, or adding contacts — are synced back to Google so everything remains up to date.

Over the new few week, these features will be enhanced and available only for those who are a part of Windows Insider Program. Users will be prompted to update their Gmail account settings once they receive the update and will be reminded again in a few weeks in case they miss the first notification.
