Funimation and Crunchyroll are merging under the Crunchyroll name, but that isn't stopping the former from releasing exciting content for fans! According to a new report, Funimation has announced the English dub release date for the slice-of-life comedy anime series Gal & Dino, also known as My Roomie Is a Dino. In addition, the platform will also release an English Dub for the live-action series based on the anime.
My Roomie is a Dino is originally a Japanese manga series written by Moriko Mori and illustrated by Cota Tomimura. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine from October 2018 to January 2022. Fans who want to read the manga series can check it out on Kodansha.
Gal & Dino or My Roomie is a Dino first premiered in Japan on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels in April 2020. New episodes of the series were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans can watch the series on Funimation, which aired the show as it aired in Japan. The series is divided into an anime version and a live-action version.
The English dub episodes for the Gal & Dino are slated to release on March 5, 2022. Michael Sinterniklaas produces the English dub at NYAV Post while Andy Roth is directing. In addition, Stephanie Sheh is the casting director, with Zoe Martin supervising the script.
Fans can check out the Gal & Dino series on Funimation.
