Who is ready to watch basketball in ultra high quality? Well, fuboTV is going to be the first live TV streaming service to offer NCAA basketball in 4K Beta.
fuboTV will make sure you can enjoy the early rounds and quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament, as well as the early rounds and semifinals of the Big East Tournament in 4K, before making room for March Madness.
fuboTV has been offering 4K/HDR in Beta since last July when they were first to offer such streaming quality. Even now, they remain the only live TV platform to offer content in ultra HD, and it has already done this for the World Cup, La Liga, MLB Playoffs, and more.
Now, during the March 13 - March 17 week, we're going to see the Big Ten Tournament on the Big Ten Network, which will be available in 4K Beta, as well as the semifinals and final on CBS. The Big East Tournament early rounds and semifinals will be broadcast on FS1 in 4K Beta, while the final moves to Fox.
Then, on March 17 we're kicking off the true Madness with the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament coverage. On the 17th you can watch Selection Sunday on CBS, while March 19th and 20th will feature Play-in Games on truTV. March 21st through March 24th will feature 1st and 2nd rounds on CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV.
March 28th through March 21st features the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games on CBS and TBS. April 6 will have the Final Four on CBS, while the championship game is scheduled for April 8th, also on CBS. Unfortunately, these won't be available in 4K, fuboTV says, because the TV networks are not filming the game at such high quality, so they can't, therefore, be streamed that way.
If you want to learn more about watching March Madness online, we've got you covered, but you should keep in mind that you won't enjoy such high-quality streaming with other platforms. Then again, if you don't necessarily have a 4K ready device, that may not matter much. Also, check out our fuboTV review to find out more about what the platform has to offer.
