One month before her wedding, LucÃa's world falls apart when she’s accused of corporate espionage and loses her job on the same day she was expecting a big promotion. Now, not only does she face the shame of telling her fiancé Basilio that she no longer has the income to support their family, but her entire future is thrown into turmoil.Â
Meanwhile, Basilio, an aspiring writer, is struggling to produce anything of value for his next book. Desperate to avoid failure, the couple weaves a series of comical lies that ultimately put their relationship at risk.
The series Fleeting Lies is produced by Pedro Almodóvar, along with AgustÃn Almodóvar and Esther Garcia. It is directed by Félix Sabroso and Marta Font and produced under Paramount Television International Studios. Paramount Global Content Distribution handles its worldwide distribution. Notably, Pedro Almodóvar, a two-time Oscar winner for his film Talk to Her, serves as a producer on the show.
