Final Destination: Bloodlines- Death Begins the hunt in First Teaser Trailer

Final Destination: Bloodlines is one of the most anticipated films releasing this year. Not much is known about the plot, but a teaser trailer has finally been released that hints at what’s to come. In this article, we will discuss the 2 minutes plus teaser and more. 

What does the Final Destination: Bloodlines Teaser Trailer show?

Final Destination: Bloodlines’ first teaser trailer shows the thing this franchise is famous for- the domino effect of death. We see a tattoo artist with a nose ring bid goodbye to his last customer for the day. “My old man just died, I come in as a favor, and now they want me to lock up,” he says. 

Losing his father has taken a toll on him so he switches on the fan and sits down to ink the word Dad on his forearm. But something happens when he isn’t paying attention to his surroundings. We see the spinning blades of the fan almost touch the long and slim metallic chains hanging from the ceiling. 

These metallic ropes are also old and are barely hanging onto the ceiling. Calamity strikes when after tattooing, the man gets up to check on a broken glass jar, only to knock over a can containing some form of fuel. One of the chains gets detached from the ceiling and tangled with the fan. 

To make matters worse, the lower end of the chain gets stuck on the nose ring of the man, beginning a tense, dramatic, and horrifying sequence. The teaser does an excellent job of building up suspense and making viewers feel the steadily rising dread as the domino sequence of death begins. Check it out below:

Final Destination: Bloodlines will be released in theaters on Friday, May 16, 2025, in IMAX.
