Today a social media giant Facebook will begin testing the GIF button that allows the user post GIFs on comments that are sourced from sites like Giphy and Tenor.

According to the report from tech crunch on Saturday, “Everyone loves a good GIF and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments. So we are about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test”.

After the completion of the test, the GIF comment button will be available to small groups of Facebook users and it will roll out to everyone, who loves it.

This button function is similar to Facebook Messenger. Also, the user is allowed to search and browse the latest GIFs reaction.

They introduced a new button ‘dislike’ for messenger, now it’s more interesting and making fun to your friend and family members.

Facebook celebrate the first anniversary of ‘Reaction’ on February, 300 billion users post ‘Reaction’ are recorded. And the ‘love’ reaction was users maximum post over 1.75 billion around the world.

As a fact, auto-play videos are more annoying and distracting than GIFs, and the fact that Facebook wants to start the testing in GIFs button shows its ready to embrace the change.
