In early November 2017, Mark Zuckerberg visited St. Louis, Missouri as part of his trip around the country. It is there that he announced a new program called "Facebook Community Boost", aimed to help small businesses in the US to grow quickly using Facebook as a solid platform for that. This was the next step after Facebook had previously invested more than $1 billion to support small businesses. According to him, over 70 million small business use Facebook every day to connect with their customers. These small business owners now have the same tools as big businesses have to make their clients happy and find new opportunities. Zuckerberg also said that Facebook Community Boost program will be available in 30 US cities in 2018.
Today, Facebook's newsroom service said that their Community Boost team is committed to investing in small businesses and their community. Their team is also eager to hear everyone's thoughts about the program and what they can do to make it better. Users can send their ideas at the official Community Boost's page.
