Mark Zuckerberg Denies running for US Presidency

Rumors have been around that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be running for the US President in the White House but he has strongly denied that his only plan, for now, is to grow his community at facebook and working on the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI).

The Corporation was founded by him and his wife, Priscilla Chan to invest in the development of major leadership and science research.

The question arose after Vanity Fair asked in January“Will Mark Zuckerberg Be Our Next President?”.

After Several weeks of speculation and some series set of events had finalized that he might run for the presidency but he denied it on Tuesday.

According to Buzzfeed, Zuckerberg responded with a "No" when he was asked if he had any plans to run for president.

Few sources from NDTV has mentioned, "There's absolutely no truth to the idea that Mark is running for office and I've heard it directly from him."

He additionally added, "For Mark, Facebook is a global community that already plays this huge part in the lives of billions of people around the world and plays an incredibly important role in shaping the base on the issues that matter".
