Will There be a SAS Rogue Heroes Season 3?

Steven Knight, the creator of SAS Rogue Heroes, originally planned for the series to span three seasons, with the first covering only the initial part of Ben Macintyre's book. He shared with LadBible, “We’re gonna go another three… the story just keeps going, and it gets more and more incredible.” The upcoming seasons will continue after the end of World War II, exploring what unfolds next.

In future seasons, the story could delve into Captain Stirling’s imprisonment at Colditz Castle, where he was tasked with establishing the British Intelligence Unit. This could tie into elements from Macintyre's Colditz: Prisoners of the Castle. Knight hinted, “We might break away and do Colditz as well — [Julius] Green meets [David] Stirling."

Some speculated that season three may focus on Paddy Mayne’s daring operations behind enemy lines, particularly in the lead-up to D-Day in June 1944.
