What is the plot of Selling the City?

Selling the City follows eight kickass agents at real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman as they fight to stay alive in the fast-paced world of luxury real estate in New York City. The cut-throat competition will bring intense drama into the personal and professional lives of these agents.

From jaw-dropping properties to multi-million dollar deals, all of this will happen with the city and its landscape in the background. In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Eleonora said Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the Selling Sunset bosses were supportive of her project.

She also explained how Selling the City was different from the rest of the lot. She said, “I have a lot of respect for those guys and what they’ve built. But this is a little different. We’re a little grittier, and a woman is leading the team. The city also takes everything to another level. There’s a really high barrier to entry in this market, and it makes it extraordinarily competitive.”

Is There a Trailer for Selling the City?

In the trailer, we are introduced to Eleonora Srugo and her team of agents who are taking over New York City. In the clip, Eleonora says, “I am a top real estate broker at Douglas Elliman, and I just had one of the biggest years of my career. Now, I’m starting my own team.”

We are then introduced to her team and also the drama that’s sure to come with team members in a race against time and each other to close listings and grab clients. The stress gets so much that at one point one of the agents threatens to sue the show. All this happens with lavish, luxurious, and high-end real estate properties in the background.
