What is Scam Goddess About?

The first three episodes focus on high-profile cases: The Horseplay Heist, where Laci investigates Rita Crundwell, who stole $53 million from her town to fund her equestrian lifestyle; The Sideline Scammer, which follows financial advisor Peggy Fulford, who promised athletes like Dennis Rodman generational wealth but drained their accounts instead; and The Gig City Grift, where Laci tracks down Kyle Sandler, a tech mastermind who scammed clients in Opelika, Alabama, with false promises of Silicon Valley success.

The series, based on the hit podcast, showcases Laci’s signature wit as she meets whistleblowers, victims, and even the scammers themselves, leaving no stone unturned. Mosley’s Scam Goddess podcast was ranked one of Time’s top 10 best podcasts of 2022, and she earned the Best Overall Host Award at the 2024 iHeart Podcast Awards.
