Disney+ Day Celebration Premieres New Content and Comes With Special Promotions

The Walt Disney Company announced they will host a special event called Disney+ Day on Friday, November 12, to celebrate two years since the streaming platform's launch. Besides premiering new content for the subscribers, the event also brings a special offer for the monthly fee and other benefits for fans around the world.

The Disney+ Day celebration begins today, November 8, with an introductory offer for new and eligible returning subscribers, who can get one month of Disney+ for $1.99, and then $7.99 a month starting the second month. This offer ends on November 14.

"Since launching two years ago, Disney+ has captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences around the world with its best-in-class originals and robust library of beloved films and series. With Disney+ Day, we are creating an unparalleled experience for our subscribers as only The Walt Disney Company can," said Kareem Daniel, Chairman, Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.

The Disney Plus accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram will reveal first looks, new trailers, exclusive clips, and appearances from Disney+ creators and stars for upcoming content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and in select international territories, Star. The social media event starts this Friday at 6:00 am PT.

The Disney+ Day has several premieres prepared to land on the platform on Friday, including the tiles below. Exclusive on-platform specials from Pixar Animation Studios premiere at 8:00 am PT and the ones from Marvel Studios premiere at 8:45 am PT.

Moreover, ABC’s Owned TV Stations will feature programming dedicated to Disney+ Day, including special episodes of “Localish” and “On The Red Carpet,” and “Good Morning America” will celebrate live from Times Square on November 12 with special guests from Disney+ shows and spotlights on the celebrations at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
