Disney+ is already available in the Netherlands! Even though the service will launch in the US on November 12th, it seems that the Disney+ app has already made its way to the Google Play Store in the European country.
According to Droid-Life, not only can folks download the app to their devices, but they can also enjoy a free subscription and access to everything the app has to offer until the official launch date of November 12th. Once that date lands, there's no more free access for anyone.
Disney+ is supposed to launch in the US, the Netherlands, and Canada in the first leg of the launch party on November 12th. Australia and New Zealand will get access starting with November 19th, 2019, while the rest of the world has to wait a while. Disney is planning to launch the service worldwide in the next couple of years, making it available to anyone and everyone. By 2024, Disney expects they'll have between 60 and 90 million subscribers, with a third of them being from the United States.
The competition in the streaming service world is quite dire, with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime battling it out, but Disney+ promises loads of quality content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, to name a few. Apple TV+ and HBO Max are also going to be direct competitors upon launch.
Furthermore, Disney+ will become available to Hulu subscribers as an add-on on the launch, and there will also be a pre-made package bundling up Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for only $12.99 per month. Individually, Disney+ will cost $6.99/Mo or $69.99/year.
