Plot

Die, My Love is set in a forgotten rural landscape, where a mother battles severe psychosis, struggling to maintain her grip on reality. Trapped in the prescribed roles of wife and mother, the unnamed protagonist wrestles with feelings of isolation and entrapment. As she yearns for freedom, her actions become increasingly erratic, including engaging in an affair. Her family gives her surprising leeway, yet she feels more stifled and repressed, teetering on the edge of destruction.

Directed by Ramsay, known for her intense, mood-driven films, Die, My Love delves deep into the complexities of mental health, motherhood, and the dark desires that simmer beneath the surface of domestic life. Ramsay has described the film as a darkly humorous exploration of a woman on the brink, with a focus on the vivid, sensory experiences that define her work. The movie promises to be an intense, gripping cinematic experience, capturing the raw and brutal emotions at the heart of the narrative.
