Crunchyroll Announces Nominations for Annual Anime Awards and Your Vote Counts!

Anime fans, it's time to vote! Crunchyroll has just announced the nominees for their annual Anime Awards, and the voting is open. As per our observations, the anime series ODDTAXI and Wonder Egg Priority are leading with 11 nominations each. Jujutsu Kaisen, with 10 nominations, is not far behind.

The popular Attack on Titan series has been nominated in 9 different categories as well. Interestingly, Attack on Titan's favorite hero/villain Eren Jaeger has been nominated for two opposing categories, namely "Best Protagonist" and "Best Antagonist." All in all, 39 different anime series have been nominated across a total of 20 categories.

Crunchyroll seems to have made some changes since this year's awards have added a few more categories like "Best Film," "Best Action Series," and "Best Romance Series." However, some categories from last year's awards have also been scrapped this year, including "Best Couple." Fans can also vote for their favorite voice actors for dubbed series, including English, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), and Russian.

Crunchyroll's annual Anime Awards are underway, and the voting is now open! Fans are allowed to participate in the voting process every day until the polls close, which is January 25. You can vote on Crunchyroll's official website, where the polls have now been opened. In addition, you can also check out last year's winners on the same page.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2022 will be announced on the official voting page and on Crunchyroll's social media channels on Wednesday, February 9.
