Logitech was the first brand to break the notion of wireless mice being just as good as wired variants for gaming and eSports with products like the G Pro Wireless, G703 and more. Corsair has now joined the party as well with its own lag-free gaming mouse. The Harpoon RGB is a wireless gaming mouse that was just unveiled at CES 2019.

Corsair’s Harpoon RGB Wireless is a versatile product, and if you run out of power, you can always plug it into your computer via USB, and it’ll function like a normal wired mouse. The 2.4GHz Slipstream Wireless connection is designed to offer almost non-existent input lag. Bluetooth connectivity is also available but the connectivity option will add slight input lag, and it’s recommended to use the Wi-Fi version if you want under 1ms latency.

The sensor on Corsair’s Harpoon RGB offers up to 10,000 DPI via an optical sensor, and it also comes with 6 reprogrammable buttons if you want to add custom functions or assign macros. The company promises roughly 60 hours of usage which is quite impressive if you compare it to the competition.

Unlike a number of pricey wireless mice out there, Corsair has priced the Harpoon competitively at $50. It also comes with RGB lighting if you want to spice things up on your desk. Two other mice were also introduced by Corsair – the Ironclaw RGB and M65 RGB Elite. The Ironclaw packs a jaw-dropping 18,000 DPI sensor, and it comes with seven reprogrammable buttons compared to Harpoon’s six.

The new M65 Elite, on the other hand, is an updated version of the original M65 which commands a cult following amongst Corsair fans. It is a lightweight mouse that sheds some weight compared to its predecessor, and the buttons have been redesigned. Both the M65 Elite and Ironclaw RGB are a tad pricier than the Harpoon RGB with a price tag of $60.
