Release Date & Where to Watch

Amazon has not yet announced the exact release date for Citadel season two. Following its renewal in May 2023, the season's release has been delayed due to the 2023 writers' strike.

With the addition of two spin-offs, Citadel: Diana and Citadel: Honey Bunny, set to premiere in late 2024, it's increasingly likely that season two will arrive in 2025.

Plot

While the plot for Citadel season two remains under wraps, the first season’s finale left many questions unanswered. Major revelations, including Mason’s American accent and his connection to his mother, Dahlia, have set the stage for deeper exploration in the next season. Mason’s role as a mole and his complex relationship with Nadia, now complicated by their shared child, will drive much of the new storyline. Additionally, Bernard’s fate, left unresolved as he was tortured by Dahlia, will likely become a key focus.

Season two is anticipated to delve into these unresolved issues, exploring Mason’s true identity, Nadia’s decisions, and the implications of their child. Fans can expect more high-stakes espionage and drama, continuing the thrilling narrative that defined the first season.
