Beyond: UFOs and the Unknown, a new four-part series, premieres on MGM+ on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at 10 pm ET.
In 2017, the revelation of a secret Pentagon program studying UFOs shifted the conversation from whether UFOs were real to the more pressing question: "What are they?" This sparked an intense exploration by scientists, academics, and government officials, leading them far beyond the simple notion of machines in the sky.
Their investigation delved deep into alien encounters, near-death experiences, remote viewing, and other paranormal phenomena that initially seemed disconnected.Â
With cutting-edge techniques and a focus on credible evidence, they unearthed unsettling and mind-bending discoveries hidden within the fabric of everyday life. The answers they found don't just redefine our understanding of UFOs—they challenge everything we know about human consciousness, the afterlife, and our place in the universe.
Paul Crowder directed the first and third episodes, while Mark Monroe handled the second and fourth. Kevin Lincoln serves as co-executive producer, with Monroe, Lyn Lear, Rachel Rusch Rich, Sean Stuart, Glen Zipper, and J.J. Abrams serving as executive producers. Maren Domzalski is the producer. The series is a Bad Robot/Zipper Bros Films production in association with Sutter Road Picture Company, Diamond Docs, and MGM+ Studios.
