Aside from the all-new Apple Watch Series 6, Apple has also introduced a more affordable smartwatch today, called 'Apple Watch SE.'
The Apple Watch SE will come in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm, with the price starting at $279 – for the 44mm GPS (aluminum) model. The most affordable Apple Watch retains many of the Series 3's flagship features while being powered by the S5 Chip as well as Apple's watchOS 7.
Based on its price, it looks like Apple Watch SE is set to compete with the likes of Fitbit and other budget-friendly smartwatches and activity trackers. The smartwatch comes in both Wi-Fi and cellular versions of available.
Pre-orders start today, with units arriving as soon as Friday. Once again, the pricing for Apple Watch SE starts at $279, with Apple Card financing available ($12 per month).
