Discounts are always welcome, so it's good news that Apple TV Plus subscribers are going to pay less for the CBS All Access and Showtime bundle, as 9to5Mac reports.
The CBS All Access and Showtime bundle will now be available for $9.99 per month, which is a pretty good deal. Not only that, but this is the first video bundle that's available to subscribers of Apple's streaming service.
Getting all three subscriptions separately will cost you considerably more. Apple TV Plus goes for $4.99 per month, CBS All Access starts at $5.99 per month for the ad-supported version and goes up to $9.99 for the ad-free version (which is the one you're getting with the new deal), while Showtime costs $10.99 per month. The promo that gave those buying an Apple device a free year of Apple TV+ is still active, so you can definitely go that route too if you want.
However, subscribing to Apple TV+ and receiving the new bundle will put your monthly subscription at $14.98. Getting them individually can cost you between $21.97 if you go for the ad-supported CBS All Access and $25.97 per month if you go for the combo that you're getting with the new promo.
Another interesting thing to note is that Apple may very well start expanding its offering of subscription bundles for various other services. Adding Showtime and CBS All Access seems to be only the first step forward, and we may get more in the near future. There are plenty of premium networks that they could pair up with, so it's going to be interesting to see which is up next and what other options subscribers will get.
