Release date and Where to Watch 

Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will have 10 episodes, but it doesn’t have an exact release date yet. Previously, season 1 was released in May 2022, the second one in July/August 2023, and the third season hit Netflix in October 2024. So, the upcoming season may be on Netflix screens by late 2025.

What is Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 About?

Lincoln Lawyer season 3 ended with a bombastic reveal that set up season 4- a cop found that Mickey Haller had a dead body in his trunk. The body belonged to his former client, Sam Scales. Mickey will have to defend himself against murder charges in the next season. 

Season 4 will adapt Michael Connelly’s sixth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series called, The Law of Innocence. If the show follows the plot of the book, Mickey will have to deal with a $5 million bail. Also, he will have to build his own case from behind bars. 

Regarding season 4, The Lincoln Lawyer’s co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez told Cinemablend that season 4 will be a timebomb where events will happen one after the other. Also, she said, “In Season 4, what happens in my mind is that the whole family has to come together to save Mickey. So, we're basically dealing with all hands on deck.”

She further explained, “And, you know, when that happens, sometimes people are so stressed out, they don't behave in the best ways… So it's a chance for us to show not cracks, but more like the stress and the pressure of something like this, where your boss and one of your best friends is fighting for their life, and what happens to all these people that love him and care about him and want to support him and want to prove his innocence? What happens to all those relationships under that much stress?”

• Constance Zimmer as Dana Berg (Maggie’s colleague from her LA district attorney days). She is described as a ruthless prosecutor who Mickey will go up against. She will stop at nothing without getting a guilty verdict.

Created by David E. Kelley, Lincoln Lawyer is based on the book series of the same name by Michael Connelly. Ted Humphrey developed it for television, and he, along with Connelly, Ross Fineman, Tana Nugent Jamieson, Barry Jossen, David E. Kelley, and more executive produced the series.
