Plot of Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea

Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea follows friends Wynne Evans and Joanna Page as they set sail from Cardiff to St Davids (Britain’s smallest city) and travel all along the Welsh coastline. Evans is a BBC Wales presenter, opera singer, and Strictly Come Dancing star while Page is the star of Gavin & Stacey, playing the titular Stacey.

The old friends take a break from their professional lives to reconnect with their heritage and homeland. The duo will also have some friends on the way, like Wynne’s dog Ginny; and their skipper, Wayne. Their sailing adventure will be filled with stops at Penarth, Barry Island, Wynne’s home county of Carmarthenshire, and Joanna’s hometown of Swansea, among others.

They will also join a rowing club, swim with Puffins, and explore the place where Gavin & Stacey is set. The series promises to be full of laughter and joy. In an interview with BBC, both talked about their favorite moments from the show.

Wynne said, “There were so many good moments I have to say, but I think it was the simplest things that were the nicest. I enjoyed kayaking with her when I fell in the water because I actually thought she was going to laugh so much that she was going to fall in as well. There’s so many good moments to the programme!”

Joanna said, “Surfing, for me, on my own was one of my most favourite things because I just didn’t want to come out of the sea.” Both also said that filming the show was fun as well as life-changing.
