In Mary J. Blige’s Family Affair, Kendra and Ben decide to leave the city to focus on their relationship and build a family. However, what they expected to be a fresh start, soon turns sour when they face fertility issues. Making things worse, she also struggles to find common ground with Ben’s son, Miles.
Their relationship reaches a boiling point when Kendra finds out that Ben has been secretly helping his brother with something. If that wasn’t enough, the entry of an old friend back into their lives complicates an already frayed relationship even more.
Now, everyone will have to come together to help Kendra and Ben rediscover their love and stay together. But will a family intervention be enough for a couple on the brink of failure?
The trailer of the film begins with Kendra and Ben’s engagement. However, problems come knocking at their doorstep when his ex-wife says to Kendra that the ring he has proposed to her with seems to be a replica of the one he got her. This is just the beginning as Kendra discovers that Ben is hiding something from her.
Their marriage seems to be on the rocks as Kendra says “Marriage means sacrifice.” Check out the trailer below:
